What's changing in 2018

For Honda, 2018 will be the year of a small revolution for the 1800 Goldwing: more technical, lighter, more compact, this supreme vessel will be available in three versions, Standard, Tour and Bagger.

This year also marks a return to the characterful roadster segment. The CB 1000 R benefits from a completely new stylistic direction. The CB 300 R and CB 125 R are similar in style.

On the trail side, the 1000 Africa Twin breaks new ground with an Adventure Sports version. The NC 750 S returns, and the VFR 1200 and CBR 600 RR disappear.

The internal plates of the headlight structure may resonate due to vibrations from the engine and steering. This can lead to bending at the base of the terminal. Metal wires can fatigue at the root of the terminals, leading to flickering or headlight failure, which can cause an accident.

The clamping bolt of the primary drive pinion is subject to fatigue failure due to excessive stress caused by bending forces. When this happens, the impulse rotor becomes dislodged, resulting in ignition signal failure and engine stalling while driving, or inability to start. This creates a risk of accident and injury to vehicle occupants.
