presentation of the CBR 1000 RR Fireblade SP édition Suzuka 2018

After Yamaha's insolent domination, the Suzuka 8 Hours is now in the sights of Honda and, above all, HRC. One after the other, the Japanese factory presented its shock weapon, the CBR 1000 RRW - its hypersport bike, suitably typed to take control of endurance racing; and a Replica version of the CBR 1000 SP, featuring the RRW deco. With the No. 1 on the front and the HRC logo prominently displayed on the flanks, this hypersport bears the manufacturer's coat of arms and its determination to take on the world.

shown at the Tokyo Motor Show, this CBR 1000 SP Suzuka Edition is not intended for Europe; it's simply a sporting pleasure and a demonstration of Honda's commitment to the Japanese market. In addition to its highly equivocal deco, the machine is also equipped with a fine array of hardware: oZ racing wheels, Akrapovic line, new Brembo calipers, GB Racing crankcase protectors - in addition to the semi-active Öhlins suspension and the excellent ride/performance/homogeneity ratio of the big CBR(see our review ->).
