What's changing in 2013
2013 marks a revolution for BMW: its famous flat-twin goes liquid-cooled. The first to benefit is the all-new, completely redesigned R 1200 GS. Still among the trail bikes, the F 700 GS and F 800 GS evolve more discreetly but surely. With its semi-active suspension, the new S 1000 RR HP4 heralds a new generation of sports bikes. The F 800 GT makes its appearance, a small sport-GT that replaces the F 800 S / F 800 ST duo.

At high engine speeds (>= 12,500 rpm), the oil filter's screw connection may come loose, causing oil to leak from the oil filter. This can lead to oil deposits on the road, creating slippery sections and increasing the risk of accidents and injuries.
