presentation of the 450 Alltrhike 2025
How can you tell if a trail bike is a real trail bike or a pseudo trail bike? By its tires and the size of its front wheel! If you've got big, smooth tires and small wheels, you can tell me how you're doing on muddy roads... because if you clown around, you look like one. When, on the other hand, you've got a big wheel at the front and thin, spiky tires, you've got real adventure ahead of you. It's in the latter category that Moto-Morini has chosen to launch its medium (small?) displacement 450cc trail bike, the Alltrhike.
Dakar face
It' s hard to surprise us these days with native A2 trail bikes. The 10 fingers on our hands aren't enough to count the new models, whether Chinese, European or Japanese. The CFMoto 450 MT, the Honda NX 500 and the Royal-Enfield Himalayan are all class queens. Yet Moto-Morini manages to surprise us with a machine that looks like no other. The styling department has gone to great lengths to give the bike a real look without copying the others. As a result, the Alltrhike will stand out at first glance thanks to its LED headlights, made up of two blocks on either side of the bubble. Above the round part, a daytime running light follows the shape of the bubble. A real Transformers robot's face.
The adjustable bubble conceals a large TFT display in a vertical position, like a roadbook. According to the visual provided by the brand, in addition to the basic functions (speed / rev counter / fuel), we know that this dashboard will offer connectivity (telephone, music management) as well as a GPS function, according to the icons visible on the display. Moto-Morini has not yet revealed all its functions, so we must remain evasive, but we have a feeling that the functions will be quite rich and complete. The rider will have two USB ports for charging his devices.
The chassis features a steel frame and aluminum swingarm. Suspension is provided by Kayaba, with a 41 mm fork (210 mm travel) at the front offering a wide range of adjustments (preload, compression and rebound damping), while the rear shock is adjustable for preload and rebound damping, with a 190 mm travel. A ground clearance of 220 mm for a seat height of 847 mm will ensure the bike's real crossing capabilities. For braking, Moto-Morini has announced a 320 mm front disc with a 4-piston caliper, and a 255 mm rear disc with a double-piston caliper The ABS will be dual-channel and can be deactivated for off-road use - purists are already shouting Hallelujah.
Last but not least, as announced in the introduction, this trail bike has opted for traditional tires, not really road tires, with a 90/90 - 21-inch front and 140/70 - 19-inch rear. A choice that's perfectly suited to the trails you'll encounter on your adventures. All mounted on spoked wheels, of course.
The bike is claimed to have a dry weight of 170 kg, a reasonable figure, although the generous 18-liter fuel tank will need to be filled, adding a further 13.5 kilos.

Engine-wise , the Alltrhike 450 opts for a vertical twin-cylinder with a claimed power output of 44.2 hp at 8,500 rpm. Maximum torque is 4.5 mkg at 6,250 rpm. The engine is very similar to that of the CFMoto, with identical 72×55.2mm dimensions. This translates into a behavior that will require a bit of hard work at higher revs to get the best out of the engine. This engine complies with Euro5+ standards and propels the bike to a Vmax of 155 km/h.
it promises to be a fun ride!
Alltrhike in good English means hiking, and this new Moto Morini is like a promise to spend a lovely afternoon criss-crossing the hinterland between two off-road "specials". It's the kind of bike you'd set off with a picnic lunch in your rucksack, a piece of sausage at the top of the hill, time to admire the scenery and get back in the saddle. The Alltrhike will cost around €6,500 (Motoplanete estimate).
