presentation of the F4 1000 R 312 2008
in the fast-moving world of sports bikes, the Japanese are almost metronomes: a new design every year, a redesign every 2 years, a new machine every 4 years. At MV-Agusta, we see things differently: we don't change machines, but we do develop a new model from time to time (limited series or evolution).
after the Senna, the Agostini, the Tamburini, the Veltro, the Corse, the Mamba, the Platino, the S, the R, the CC (you name it...), the timeless F4 1000 arrives in this R 312 version - a number that slams like an affront to repression, an insult to reasonableness, an audacity for the tachometer. The 312 is the speed in km/h claimed by this F4 1000. In fact, the Rimini-based company doesn't hesitate to describe its latest model as the world's fastest production motorcycle. Sorry Miss Hayabusa, your record's gone.
of course, this new F4 isn't just an R with a 312 sticker. The Italian craftsmen have once again manipulated a few ingredients to spice up the flavor of this forbidden dish. A latest-generation Magnetti Marelli fuel injection system handles the 183 horsepower of the "bella". 9 more horsepower than the R thanks to an optimized intake (longer ducts, cross-sections increased from 46 to 48 mm), reworked camshafts and the adoption of 30 mm titanium intake valves. Of course, the millstone is Euro 3 compliant, and on a par with the latest armada of Japanese sports cars.
as for the chassis, it's stronger than in the land of the rising sun, and faithful to the company's tradition of heavy-duty kit: 50 mm diameter Marzocchi inverted forks, radial brakes and forged Brembo aluminum rims, Sachs double-speed compression shock absorbers. And it wouldn't be a thoroughbred pistarde if it didn't come with a few little extras, including an EBS system (a kind of traction control), some classy new colors (the traditional red-gray, the black of the R, and this new pearly white on a dark skirt) and a price that's higher than that of the standard R.

We're no longer talking about speed, but about passion..
You don't buy an MV just to go fast, but to drive an MV. It has a unique line that has remained unchanged for years, and only MV has managed to achieve this feat
I'm just a lover of the brand and the motorcycle, like many bikers, and I too own an MV, with the difference that it owns me...!!!!
Bonne route a tous et a toutes...!!!!
P.S:I don't want to offend anyone, I just want to pass on my passion... V

it was the zx12r that won the title until 2002, when they limited the 6th gear so that it no longer exceeded 300
ditto for the zx10

There's just one small detail: the Hayabusa takes 340 full meters, so I don't want to criticize such a pure marvel, but we mustn't lose sight of the fact that the Busa is still the fastest production bike in the world
