presentation of the DS 625 X 2025
Voge introduces yet another trail bike to the market. It's all about firing on all cylinders and occupying all segments. After the highly successful DS 900 X and DS 800 Rally, we now have the DS 625 X.
This 625 follows in the footsteps of the 525, from which it takes its design cues, but ups the ante with 63 hp (compared with 47.5 hp on the 525). This puts it in a better position than the market benchmarks in the medium-displacement segment, such as the Kawasaki Versys 650 or the Honda NC750X.
In contrast to the Japanese models, the Chinese model boasts a much more off-road style, as well as attractive equipment such as KYB suspension and Nissin brakes. Quality, as is often the case with Voge, but at a tight price. The right formula?
Style: feel the sand, surf the asphalt
Whether in its shape, its look or its colors, just looking at this Voge gives you the sensation of starting a journey through dust and sand. If the machine's true capabilities are rarely used, for use on French roads, it gives off something, it has a personality all of its own.
While its colors and accessories suggest off-road escapism, the generous size of the fairings and bubble suggest real touring capabilities. This Voge will undoubtedly allow you to judge its qualities on asphalt for a weekend or a vacation. Comfortably seated behind the height-adjustable bubble, the rider enjoys a rather upright position, with the handlebars slightly raised, which should also come in handy when standing up for a few passes on the trails. The seat height is 835 mm. Your hands will appreciate the standard hand protectors against rain, cold or projectiles, as well as the crashbars and package holder. In addition to the optics under the bubble, the DS625X also comes with additional long-range lights as standard. These are located in a recess in the fairing just above the cooling radiator.

The comprehensive equipment package (at this price level!) also includes scrolling LED indicators, a TFT color display with Bluetooth and GPS functions, backlit controls, two USB sockets, a tire pressure sensor, adjustable levers, an outside temperature sensor and a very nice engine block! Phew, the cup is full and the Japanese competition has gone into hiding... As an option, the bike can be fitted with beautiful black aluminum luggage.
581 cm3 twin-cylinder, 63 bhp, 191 kg and a bit of electronics
For greater versatility and peace of mind in all situations, Voge has beefed up the twin-cylinder compared to the 525. Set at 270°, it delivers 63 bhp (47 kW) at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 57 Nm at 6,500 rpm. That's no less than 15.5 hp more than the 525 version. The 625 can do a lot with this engine, and is no longer afraid of the Kawa' Versys 650 (67 hp) or even the Honda NC750X (745 cm3 / 59 hp). Of course, an A2 version of the Voge DS625X is also available.
Above all, this Voge is rather light! At just 191 kg dry weight, it's one of the best performers in its class. The chassis is made of tubular steel. It is fitted with KYB suspension. The 41 mm front fork is adjustable, as is the single shock with separate reservoir. Travel is 174 mm at the front and 145 mm at the rear. The chassis features Nissin brakes with twin-piston calipers and 298 mm front discs. The rear disc is a 240 mm single-piston caliper. ABS is fitted and can be disconnected, but only at the rear. The wheels are fitted with Metzeler Tourance tires, 110/19 at the front and 150/17 at the rear. This 19-inch wheel size means that if you need to go off-road, it'll be easier than with a purely road trail equipped with 17-inch wheels.
Despite its cable-operated engine controls, the DS625X offers two engine modes (Eco and Sport) and traction control for driving assistance.

6,999 euros, the coup de grâce!
The war is set to be fierce with the CF Moto 700 MT 2025 (€7,099), because let's face it, there's no match for the more expensive or far less well-equipped Japanese models. Let's not forget that this Voge offers a nice techno content and renowned equipment (Nissin, KYB, Metzeler) for a ridiculously low price. Today, the hardest thing is not knowing what the Chinese are capable of, but choosing!

The engine really came into its own at 7000 kms. Smoother, more torquey, takes its turns better. Remember, I'm in A2. In sport mode, you can feel the difference in the mountains. In town or on a flat road, you hardly feel it at all. Now, for example, on the freeway, I'm between 120 and 130 gps at a third of the grip. It doesn't strain to hold that average, and there's no vibration. No oil consumption, chain re-tensioned at 1000 and 3000 kms, now at 12100 a little tension wouldn't do any harm, tires 2/3 worn. Fuel consumption from 3.8 (cool ride) to 5 liters on freeway. No clutch cable problems so far. servicing every 6000 kms and valve check at 18000 kms, according to the maintenance plan sent to the dealer by the DIP. THE ONLY REPROACH is the speedometer, which is really too optimistic. It's a good bike, easy to live with. I've grown attached to it. Bonne route Eric Rating : 5/5 Respond to Eric
I'm due to make a video for the Voge 625 and Voge France group on Facebook to talk about it and all the equipment I've installed to make it a warrior on the road. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Allan
I quite like the Voge, and its price is within my budget. For those of you who are no taller than 1.70m and ride the 625, how do you feel? Are you comfortable when you stop? Thank you for your opinions. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Sat
No regrets, 1600kms without re-tensioning the chain, look for the oil level.on the tiger chain has to be re-tensioned every 400 kms, otherwise it breaks the skids and it breaks. Oil level without look. And the price to have a trumph equipped like the voge, it's 12600 euro. Just the opinion of a 70 years old grandpa Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
It's capable of freeway cruising without a problem.
The 6,000-kilometer service: 159 euros. 68 years old, I'm taking a lighter approach while still having a Chinese machine that suits me after 3 bmws, 1 kawa, 2 guzzis, 1 honda and a himalayan, another 45,000-kilometer hunk of junk with no problems that I'm still keeping. I keep my bikes for a very long time. Bonne route à tous Rating : 5/5 Respond to Eric
I've had a lot of Japanese bikes before and frankly this is a very good bike with excellent value for money! ✌ Rating : 5/5 Respond to Bob
I've had the Tiger 2025 for 4 months. I've had the 625 for two months. No return to the dealer for electronic problems, unlike with Trumph. The Chinese have copied the Japanese by making improvements and offering prices that are accessible to all. The Japanese did this back in the day with the first Honda 300s. Yamaha did the same Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
