presentation of the DS 625 X 2025

Voge introduces yet another trail bike to the market. It's all about firing on all cylinders and occupying all segments. After the highly successful DS 900 X and DS 800 Rally, we now have the DS 625 X.

This 625 follows in the footsteps of the 525, from which it takes its design cues, but ups the ante with 63 hp (compared with 47.5 hp on the 525). This puts it in a better position than the market benchmarks in the medium-displacement segment, such as the Kawasaki Versys 650 or the Honda NC750X.

In contrast to the Japanese models, the Chinese model boasts a much more off-road style, as well as attractive equipment such as KYB suspension and Nissin brakes. Quality, as is often the case with Voge, but at a tight price. The right formula?

Style: feel the sand, surf the asphalt

Whether in its shape, its look or its colors, just looking at this Voge gives you the sensation of starting a journey through dust and sand. If the machine's true capabilities are rarely used, for use on French roads, it gives off something, it has a personality all of its own.

While its colors and accessories suggest off-road escapism, the generous size of the fairings and bubble suggest real touring capabilities. This Voge will undoubtedly allow you to judge its qualities on asphalt for a weekend or a vacation. Comfortably seated behind the height-adjustable bubble, the rider enjoys a rather upright position, with the handlebars slightly raised, which should also come in handy when standing up for a few passes on the trails. The seat height is 835 mm. Your hands will appreciate the standard hand protectors against rain, cold or projectiles, as well as the crashbars and package holder. In addition to the optics under the bubble, the DS625X also comes with additional long-range lights as standard. These are located in a recess in the fairing just above the cooling radiator.

Voge DS 625 X

The comprehensive equipment package (at this price level!) also includes scrolling LED indicators, a TFT color display with Bluetooth and GPS functions, backlit controls, two USB sockets, a tire pressure sensor, adjustable levers, an outside temperature sensor and a very nice engine block! Phew, the cup is full and the Japanese competition has gone into hiding... As an option, the bike can be fitted with beautiful black aluminum luggage.

581 cm3 twin-cylinder, 63 bhp, 191 kg and a bit of electronics

For greater versatility and peace of mind in all situations, Voge has beefed up the twin-cylinder compared to the 525. Set at 270°, it delivers 63 bhp (47 kW) at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 57 Nm at 6,500 rpm. That's no less than 15.5 hp more than the 525 version. The 625 can do a lot with this engine, and is no longer afraid of the Kawa' Versys 650 (67 hp) or even the Honda NC750X (745 cm3 / 59 hp). Of course, an A2 version of the Voge DS625X is also available.

Above all, this Voge is rather light! At just 191 kg dry weight, it's one of the best performers in its class. The chassis is made of tubular steel. It is fitted with KYB suspension. The 41 mm front fork is adjustable, as is the single shock with separate reservoir. Travel is 174 mm at the front and 145 mm at the rear. The chassis features Nissin brakes with twin-piston calipers and 298 mm front discs. The rear disc is a 240 mm single-piston caliper. ABS is fitted and can be disconnected, but only at the rear. The wheels are fitted with Metzeler Tourance tires, 110/19 at the front and 150/17 at the rear. This 19-inch wheel size means that if you need to go off-road, it'll be easier than with a purely road trail equipped with 17-inch wheels.

Despite its cable-operated engine controls, the DS625X offers two engine modes (Eco and Sport) and traction control for driving assistance.

Voge DS 625 X

6,999 euros, the coup de grâce!

The war is set to be fierce with the CF Moto 700 MT 2025 (€7,099), because let's face it, there's no match for the more expensive or far less well-equipped Japanese models. Let's not forget that this Voge offers a nice techno content and renowned equipment (Nissin, KYB, Metzeler) for a ridiculously low price. Today, the hardest thing is not knowing what the Chinese are capable of, but choosing!

French Model 2025
Hi everyone, Frankly, we don't really care about the battle of sizes and travels. The best thing to do is to go out and try the bike, because how you feel on the handlebars is purely personal. I've been riding a 650dsx for over 3 years now, and every time I get on it, I get a real buzz. I've tried the 800dsx (an airplane next to my mono) but the engine behavior is nothing like it, down below you don't get the feeling you get from the mono, then you have to like it. I'm 64 years old, with thousands of kilometers behind me, and I still have a lot of hope for the future. I'm 1.73 m tall. See you and ride safe Rating : 4/5
French Model 2025
My return experience at 12100 kms with half the mileage in mountainous areas. All clear.
The engine really came into its own at 7000 kms. Smoother, more torquey, takes its turns better. Remember, I'm in A2. In sport mode, you can feel the difference in the mountains. In town or on a flat road, you hardly feel it at all. Now, for example, on the freeway, I'm between 120 and 130 gps at a third of the grip. It doesn't strain to hold that average, and there's no vibration. No oil consumption, chain re-tensioned at 1000 and 3000 kms, now at 12100 a little tension wouldn't do any harm, tires 2/3 worn. Fuel consumption from 3.8 (cool ride) to 5 liters on freeway. No clutch cable problems so far. servicing every 6000 kms and valve check at 18000 kms, according to the maintenance plan sent to the dealer by the DIP. THE ONLY REPROACH is the speedometer, which is really too optimistic. It's a good bike, easy to live with. I've grown attached to it. Bonne route Eric

I've owned this bike since August 10th, with 2600 kms to date. A pure delight, road behaviour, road holding with very good quality metzeler tires. Very nice and visible speedo, satisfactory led lighting, Vitesse compteur faux exceeding 7% margin of error. We're practically at double speed. Stickers on the bike could be improved. Bubble too small, lacks 6 HP, a bike for trail riding, average fuel consumption 4.2L in 98 and 4.5 in 95e10. Saddle average in terms of comfort, no heated grips as an option, impeccable pannier kit. I recommend this bike for A and A2 licenses.
I'm due to make a video for the Voge 625 and Voge France group on Facebook to talk about it and all the equipment I've installed to make it a warrior on the road.

No problems with clutch cable breakage? Apparently the Voge's biggest problem. Rating : 4/5
Confirmation
I can confirm Eric's comments. This bike is surprising and plays well on the same register as the traditional brands. Comfortable, responsive, sure quali and pretty, it ticks all the boxes. Just one reservation, I sold my 25-year-old Japanese without ever having been to the garage except for servicing and wear parts. What will happen to this one in 2050 ???? Until then, the established brands will have a lot to worry about if they don't change their pricing policies. Cdt, Rating : 5/5
Is Voge DS625 OK for smaller people?
Hello everyone, having only ridden roadsters up until now (most recently a Triumph Trident 660) and now reaching the age of 62 with a few aches and pains and arthritis, I'm starting to look at trail bikes for more comfort and practicality. Only problem is, I'm 1.69m tall and on a trail bike I'm often a bit short.
I quite like the Voge, and its price is within my budget. For those of you who are no taller than 1.70m and ride the 625, how do you feel? Are you comfortable when you stop? Thank you for your opinions.

Hello, I own a 625 dsx, built in 2025. When I ordered it I said I wanted a discount. The dealer delivered it with the kit.3cm.I put back the fork pockets of 2cm. For the seat, leave as it is because it's narrow from the tank. For the bubble, I mounted a higher one bought on the internet (Aliexpress). nikels drillings and price .de 80 euro. In the end, with my 1.67 I feel good on both feet.super bike after a trumph tiger sport.
No regrets, 1600kms without re-tensioning the chain, look for the oil level.on the tiger chain has to be re-tensioned every 400 kms, otherwise it breaks the skids and it breaks. Oil level without look. And the price to have a trumph equipped like the voge, it's 12600 euro. Just the opinion of a 70 years old grandpa

140 mm rear suspension travel is wrong
French Model 2025
On other technical data sheets, rear travel is 161 mm. Rating : 5/5
French
Hello - for Chinese motorcycles, some figures are "complicated". Concerning the suspension travels of this Voge DS 625 X: - 174 mm and 160 mm on the Voge France site - 150 mm and 145 mm on the repaire des motards - 174 mm and 160 mm on the Motoservices test - 174 mm and 69.5 mm on the user manual and on the Voge international site - 174 mm and 181 mm on the Voge Spain site And it could go on like this for a long time. So you have to choose the one that's most consistent with the country concerned. Rating : 4/5
What more could you ask for?
French Model 2025
This is my third Voge too. This 625 DSX is very accomplished and well finished, with lots of equipment. It's easy to drive and the engine is a delight. Voge is progressing and joining the big league. For me, it ticks all the boxes, and I don't need anything more to ride it anywhere. There's a mistake in your technical data sheet: the top speed indicated in my manual is 180 km/h and not 160 as you indicate. Rating : 5/5
French Model 2025
Good evening, With all due respect to Vrsc, this bike is not a dung beetle. A 68 year old motorcyclist, it replaces a Guzzi 1200 with 84,000 kms, which gave me no problems. After 6450 kms, I'm very satisfied with my voge. More comfortable than my 1200 Norge on 2 trips of 1400 and 2500 kms. It's a bike and the engine is surprising. Its only faults: an over-optimistic speedometer 57 for 40, 130 for 144 km/h. Fuel consumption 4.5 l. I'm going to lower the passenger footrests.
It's capable of freeway cruising without a problem.
The 6,000-kilometer service: 159 euros. 68 years old, I'm taking a lighter approach while still having a Chinese machine that suits me after 3 bmws, 1 kawa, 2 guzzis, 1 honda and a himalayan, another 45,000-kilometer hunk of junk with no problems that I'm still keeping. I keep my bikes for a very long time. Bonne route à tous

Hi Eric, I'm expecting my DS625x next week. I'm wondering about the comfort of the suspension for an old biker with a sensitive back? Thanks in advance for your answer. I chose the Voge rather than the CF 650MT, I hope I made the right choice... Rating : 5/5
French
My answer, I weigh 105 kgs equipped. The suspension has softened over the kms and has settled by 0.5 cms as on all new bikes. Now more than 8000 kms and RAS. Like you, with age the back becomes sensitive. My rear suspension settings, I loosen the cylinder precharge and tighten it by 3 turns with soft cases and a lightly loaded top case. With a 55 kg passenger, I use the full preload and reduce it by 3 turns. From memory, 10 turns between fully tightened and loosened. 1 turn equals 4 clicks on the screw. Don't force the screw when you reach the stop. With these settings, it's comfortable and the handling remains good. I haven't tried the cfmoto, but it's 20 kgs heavier and that counts. All my friends my age are switching to lighter, less powerful bikes. Have a good ride! Rating : 5/5

I've had it for a week now in sand color... a pure delight for the price!!! and for the moment I'm only going at 5,000 revs/mn break-in required... the engine is available from 2,000 and the power is almost too linear - you're not at all aware of the speed... it's a bike made for the twists and turns of the Cévennes (my playground) it's disconcertingly easy and above all very reassuring.... in the first 100 kms I only had 5mm of fear tape left, which has since been erased... first real consumption 4.4 litres/100!!!! really, with the additional lights and crash bars.... there's no photo!!! and what's more, a super dealer in Alès, so everything's fine.... Thank you for your comment, please come back as you use it to give us more details about after-sales service and maintenance. Personally, I'd say you need around 10,000km to really appreciate a motorcycle, to get the most out of it in terms of daily rides, maintenance, travel... Rating : 5/5
Hello, I've been a motorcyclist for 30 years and own my 3rd Voge. I'm delighted with this new Dsx 625, which is very well finished, efficient and has a very pleasant character.

Hello, I own a voge 625DSX and after thinking about buying this model for fear of being made in China, I'm amazed by this machine. It's healthy and precise. Very easy to ride, which is a major asset. The seat height is a bit high for me, but once I'd dug in, this "discomfort" was erased. The bubble isn't high enough for my taste, however. Shifting gears is smooth and pleasant. The additional lights are definitely not a gimmick! Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I'd like to point out that I'm not a newly licensed rider, and that I've ridden all sorts of "brand-name" motorcycles. The cost of servicing remains reasonable, as does fuel consumption. Rating : 4/5

I think all users have noticed that there is a real problem between the speedometer display and the GPS speed display... On my BB motorcycle BENELLI 125TNT I found a tuto that allowed me to change the wheel diameter which was wrong. At Voge, you can't get into the speedometer system, even though there's an application and even a WIFI box (which is useless, by the way) under the passenger seat... To all owners can you ask your dealer to modify the speedometer to have the right speed ???? thank you and for your feedback up to 5 km / h difference I'm ok but when you go up to almost 15 at certain times is abused !!!! Vrsc I love this type of comment without ever having tried it the difference with Benelli is the weight Voge are less heavy To be fair the 15.5 hp more than the 525 dsx is that for Europe in ASIA the 525 dsx make 55 hp compared to the 525 the seat is slightly better suspensions are better and the more horsepower will serve those who ride in duo most of the time to change not enough difference with the 525 dsx I wait for the 800 to change bike Rating : 4/5

Hello, either you haven't ridden a sails bike or you're a bit obtuse. Tiger, double the price of the sails bike for the same equipment. Tiger 660. No chain tension indicator, chain keeps slackening.pads on swingarm destroyed in 5000. No oil level indicator,no brake and clutch lever adjustment, uncomfortable seat.
I've had the Tiger 2025 for 4 months. I've had the 625 for two months. No return to the dealer for electronic problems, unlike with Trumph. The Chinese have copied the Japanese by making improvements and offering prices that are accessible to all. The Japanese did this back in the day with the first Honda 300s. Yamaha did the same
