The 4th word will be the name of one of the 4 lucky owners of the ultra-limited R1 MotoGP Replica series. This is not an additional kit like the one available last year, to dress up your R1 or R6 Fiat Team MotoGP version. No, this time, two YZF 1000s will be dressed in the colors of Rossi's machine, and two others in the look of Lorenzo's. A special operation by Yamaha Motor France to mark the French Grand Prix at Le Mans on May 15-16-17.

But be warned. These 4 examples won't be readily available, and the ceremonial surrounding them won't be trivial either.
To get your hands on this jewel of a sports bike, with its magnificent blue-white decoration emblazoned with the team's sponsors, you'll need to log on to the Yamaha website. Reservations will open on May 5 at 9:30 am. Orders will then be confirmed by the dealer of your choice.

Then, for the lucky ones, the keys will be handed over in style. A real showtime: there will be a special evening on Saturday May 16 from 5:30 p.m. on the Bugatti circuit, organized by Yam. Then, on the following day, the famous Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will hand over the keys to their bikes on the starting grid, opposite the pits and in front of 150 Yamaha riders.

This very special R1 will not feature special suspensions (like the R1 SP) or engine upgrades, but a few unusual extras. However, it will not be offered at a standard price. The price is set at 19,990 euros. That's a lot of money, but with this cheque, you'll not only get a new-generation sports bike (cross-plane timing, variable intake, remarkable chassis), an M1 look, but you'll also be making a very nice gesture.
The package includes a donation of 1,000 euros to the "Riders for Health" association, a ceremony attended by Yamaha riders, a weekend pass to the paddock, an engraved plaque specially designed for the lucky owner and, to complete the package, a replica of the rider's helmet to match the bike.

Now all that's left to do is choose between the 46 and the 99, and, as in racing, be the fastest to the finish line. 182 horses, a monument to sport, and a replica await you.
