presentation of the F4 1000 R Frecce Tricolori 2010
a specialist in special series, MV-Agusta presents this F4 1000 Frecce Tricolori to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian aerobatic patrol. This is not the Castiglioni-based brand's first foray into aeronautical symnole, as in 2006 it produced a Veltro version in homage to an old fighter plane.
the Varese factory is proud to share the values of professionalism, rigor and elegancethe Varese factory is proud to share the values of professionalism, rigor and elegance that characterize this high-flying team of the Italian air force. These are qualities that MV has transposed into its F4, and which are displayed in full color in this model featuring the colors of the Aermacchi MB-339 aircraft flying together in tight formation. The hypersort is decorated in the same way as the aerobatic aircraft, with a blue livery embossed with 3 stripes representing the Italian flag. New rims are fitted, with Pirelli Diablo Superbike tires. But that's not all: the F4 is fitted with a number of special parts, either in carbon or titanium.
11 examples will be built, exactly the number of aircraft in the formation. A numbered silver plaque will be affixed to the steering column, identifying the motorcycle as being specifically associated with an aircraft. The F4s will be delivered to Rivolto military airport, with the added bonus of a day in the company of Frecce Tricolori pilots.
