The Triumph 900 Bonneville is the "oldest" member of the modern Bonnie family, dating back to the 2001 800. It therefore naturally belongs in Triumph's "Stealth" series. An original collection like the brand releases every year, with a specific theme and valid for one year only.
Stealth models are distinguished (oxymoronically) by a particular paint scheme on the tank, similar to that of a preparation workshop. A gradation of black towards an ostentatious color, patinated by a varnish that modifies the nuances according to the light or the angle of view. For the Bonneville, it's an electric royal blue that tries to escape the grip of darkness.
This hand-made work requires an additional 600 euros. A not inconsiderable cost for access to the Stealth collection, from Scrambler to Bobber. Eight machines are included, all from the Bonneville family, but with very different personalities. The T100 is one of the most faithful to the machine of the last century, with its unconditional and much-imitated style.
The charm is in the pace, then in the ride, carried along by the melody of the 65-hp twin. It's not enough to make your heart skip a beat (there's the 1200 T120 for that), but it's the right solution for strolling with English class, a playful character and a certain prestige, maintained by Triumph's price tag.
