presentation of the VX 10 2010
it's in storms that the bravest dare to set sail. What better image could there be for the new Voxan? The French brand may be weathering a new financial storm, but that's not stopping it from continuing the adventure and presenting a new model: the VX 10. Why 10? Because this is the tenth model to come out of the Issoire factory. A machine like Voxan knows how to make: full of style and originality, even if it means shocking people, like the Cafe Racer or the Black Magic.
with its double superimposed optics, the VX 10 is sure to catch the eye at every traffic light. It's best to sit down on a café terrace to take a closer look. And don't let its offbeat silhouette stop you - it almost looks like a Black Magic that's been hurled violently into the future. Uninhibited and daring, this machine is somewhere between a roadster and a streetfighter. A double-decker seat, double pots under the saddle, new dashboard, LED indicators and Pilot Power tires... This big twin, whose behavior has always been praised, looks good, but doesn't overdo the sporty equipment.
on the French roadster, there are no radial calipers, no fancy swingarms and no 150 furious horsepower. The VX 10 doesn't rely on hypersport equipment to give pleasure. It relies on its progenitors, its peppy twin and its chassis, which should be playful without being too sporty. The front suspension is serious (it's just not fashionable), with its 43 mm inverted fork and Brembo 4-piston calipers. Compared to an SBK all-radial, this will save you a valdingue if you don't know how to use the brakes on a greasy surface.
Will it please, won't it please? There's no doubt that the Voxan VX 10 has style, and it's a safe bet that it will arouse curiosity in many, and a certain mistrust in others. At over 12,000 euros, the Auvergne-based model already appeals to a certain clientele... demanding, but one that appreciates the finer things in life.

I'd also like to give my opinion on this machine, which I tried out on November 28, 2009 thanks to the VOXAN dealer in Capdenac (46)
As far as looks go, it doesn't shock me that much, and one thing's for sure: it's instantly recognizable, with its headlights, mufflers and exhaust pipes
Otherwise, it's a good bike, with a lively engine that accelerates well and picks up low (around 2000 rpm) without knocking, and that pushes hard right up to the red zone. As for the chassis, there's nothing to say, it corners easily, and I found the brakes to have a good, powerful and controllable feel. As for the criticism of radial brakes as used in SBK or MotoGP, I don't see the point on a road bike, the Brembo OR series 4-piston set-up is more than enough for stopping
If I could, I'd buy this new roadster. Rating : 5/5 Respond to ceclecofa1
