presentation of the DS 2020
The Zero DS claims to be the world's most versatile electric motorcycle. Easy to ride on dirt and equally at home in town, the Zero DS takes advantage of the generous travel of its suspension and mixed tires to get its rider through anything he may encounter. Continuous power delivery and an upright riding position get the rider where he wants to go quickly and comfortably. It will feature the updated Next Gen app in 2020, ensuring a simplified connection with personalized riding modes, charge status, various updates and bike diagnostics.
available in three versions:
- Zero DS ZF7.2 11 kW / A compact 7.2 kWh battery frees up space for a handy storage compartment and reduces weight by 43 kg, for a very light ride. Limited to 11 kW.
- Zero DS ZF14.4 11 kW / Upgrade to the 14.4 kWh power pack for double the range. Add a Power Tank to go even further. Limited to 11 kW.
- Zero DS ZF14.4 / With the big 14.4 kWh power pack and unbridled power for higher maximum sustained speeds.
the Zero DS had evolved in 2019, with 35% more power and 8% more top speed. Since 2015, Zero DS models have been charging at up to 125 kilometers per charging hour using the retrofitted 6 kW Charge Tank accessory on Level 2 charging stations, 6 times faster than with standard 220 V sockets.
since 2019, the machine has been equipped with a long-term storage mode. In a world first, the bike automatically optimizes the battery's state of charge to further increase its longevity. No complex procedures required.
