What's changing in 2024

yamaha is seriously revamping its YZ 250 F cross-country bike for 2024, accompanied by several "50th anniversary" special edition models. The CP3 clan welcomes the arrival of the new MT-09 and MT-09 SP, as well as a new sports bike: the XSR 900 GP. The Explore and Extreme versions of the 700 Ténéré are no longer special editions, but have become permanent fixtures in the range.

When updating the production mold, incorrect 3D design data was used, resulting in a different footrest shape than the original. The incorrect shape of the driver's footrest does not meet European Union regulatory requirements.
Motorcycles recalled on Thursday, March 27, 2025 in 1 country : MT-07 700 MT-07 Pure 700 XSR 700 700 Ténéré Tracer 7 Tracer 7 GT: As the corrosion inhibitor reacts with the worn material of the friction plate, a viscous substance can form under the effect of heat. The clutch may then fail to disengage (even when the lever is pulled), causing it to drag. The vehicle may start up unexpectedly with a gear engaged, even if the clutch is pulled, increasing the risk of injury.
Motorcycles recalled on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in 1 country : MT-09 900 MT-09 SP 900 MT-10 1000 MT-10 SP 1000 XSR 900 Tracer 9 Tracer 9 GT Tracer 9 GT+: Yamaha France is recalling its motorcycles equipped with the CP3 engine (2021-2025) due to a fault in the ECU settings. This problem causes the TPS sensor to malfunction, resulting in premature wear and the accumulation of abrasion particles. This can lead to unstable idling, engine stalling and the appearance of error code P2135. The solution: "Reprogram the ECU and replace the TPS sensor," says Iwata.
