presentation of the RR 660 S 2025
Chinese manufacturer Voge has built up a solid reputation in France with its DS range of trail bikes. The rest of its production is more anonymous, and there's nothing like stirring up a few emotions to get some publicity! On the face of it, this RR 660 S sports bike has a lot going for it, but can it live up to its promise? Let's find out..
Contemporary styling
Voge's design team has pulled out all the stops to attract customers! Whichever way you look at it, the eye is flattered, and likes to dwell on a few well-considered details, while others are sometimes more "flashy" in the purest Chinese style. The front fairing sets the tone for the bike's lines. The styling is radically sporty, not sport-GT. The headlamps are stylized, nestling in a fairing that almost conceals them. The fairing features generous spoilers that bridge the gap to the open, dynamic sides. The only probable concession to comfort, I found at the Lyon show that the bubble, though not very wide, seemed to rise high enough to relieve neck strain without dabbing, lying on the tank (15.5L).
The rear hull offers a two-tier seat, in keeping with the bike's style. All in all, it's a pleasure to look at, and sometimes reminds us of the lines of BMW's various S1000RRs, whether for the fairing sides or the shape of the exhaust system.
The styling is rounded off by a number of mechanical elements, including stylized crankcases and a 660 "engraving" on a frame plate.
The equipment on this little sports car is also competitive in this segment. There's a 5-inch TFT screen capable of displaying a wide range of information, including rev counter, fuel gauge, gear engaged, clock, water temperature and, thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, GPS. A USB port completes the equipment.

With attention to detail, the position on the bike can be customized thanks to a 3-level adjustable seat height (from 800 mm) and 10-position adjustable footrests. Although positioned under the fork crown, the half-guidelines are quite open (also adjustable, over 8°) and can be raised using the attachment point.
4 cylinders, 662 cm3 and 95 hp!
This RR660S is equipped with a clever little boiler. The 4-cylinder was commonplace on medium-displacement Japanese sports bikes, and the success of the current CBR 600 RR and ZX-6R on the French market confirms that the Chinese made the right choice. The exact figures are 95 bhp (70 kW) at 11,500 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The art of whipping this little mill will be done with the 6-speed gearbox featuring a Quickshifter. For uphill use only. The technology of this Chinese model is not yet mature enough to offer both directions.
The electronics aren't over-abundant, but they're enough to provide a few safeguards, such as traction control (which can be deactivated) and two engine modes. The package also includes ABS, which we'll describe in more detail in the cycle section.
Steel frame, aluminum swingarm
To keep costs down, this solution is not uncommon on Chinese models. Voge has therefore opted for a steel frame. Rather well made, with deburred and smoothed welds, it has a good presence, but its technical properties are necessarily less than with aluminum. This frame will inevitably be less rigid and heavier than the aluminum frames of the segment's benchmarks. The swingarm is a rather handsome piece that has little to envy its competitors. The rest of the chassis uses well-known equipment suppliers: Kayaba for suspension, and a surprising Brembo / Nissin combination for braking. At the front, we find a 43 mm inverted fork with 298 mm discs bitten by radial Brembo calipers. The rear gets a preload-adjustable monoshock, a 240 mm disc and a Nissin single-piston caliper.

Tires are CST 120/70/17 for the front and 180/55/17 for the rear. With its perimeter chassis and aluminum swingarm, the RR660S won't be caught unprepared.
The RR660S's incisive lines are reinforced by well-integrated aerodynamic spoilers, reminiscent of MotoGP. Braking is handled by Brembo 4-piston radial-mount calipers, which grip the two 300 mm front discs. Bosch ABS is fitted. It can be deactivated for track use.
All in all, the bike weighs 215 kg (excluding fuel) and is ready to roll.
Bracelet happiness
In a market where sportbikes have almost disappeared, the VOGE RR660S is an attractive and reasonable proposition. Its aim is not to set off a clock on a lap of the magnificent Dijon circuit, for example, but to offer the essence and pleasure of a sports car. Although its performance may seem a little weak, it's perfectly in tune with its use on the road rather than on the track.
With Japanese rivals priced at around €11,500, it's a safe bet that this Voge will be under the €10,000 mark. The closer it gets to 9,500 or even 9,000 euros, the better the RR660S's chances of success. In this segment, it will have to contend with competitors of the same nationality: the CF Moto 675 SR-R and the Triumph Daytona 660, which is very competitively priced.
